Gary,

I think you comments are uncalled for. I thought you had better manners. I just posted some pieces of news articles that came across my bloomberg today. You may not have bloomberg access, but that's too bad for you. Why don't you call up some one you trust and ask them if those pieces are are there. Complain to bloomberg not me...news is news.

Articles that I quoted from:

BN Nintendo, Palm, Cisco Face Parts Shortages in Booming Market - May 26, 2000 11:06

"companies from Nintendo co. and palm inc. to cisco systems inc. say they may lose says because a shortage of parts is preventing them from meeting rising demand for communications gear."

BN April Durable Goods Orders Fell Unexpected 6.4% (update 2) - May 26, 200 12:04

"...electronic equipment orders slumped a record 20.1 percent..."

Gary,

I think you should do a little more DD. I think that the bulls just read headlines and close their eyes and hope. They read that there is 6.4% decline and durable goods and think. "hey, interest rates may not be raised again" and they buy tech!!!

I read the article and see that electronic equipment orders down 20% and think "hey, how the hell is this good for tech" INTC actually up today??? I see the wealth effect coming out of the market. The broke effect of this bubble unwinding will lead to slower tech sales. I see companies with P/E's that are based on huge growth expectations. I see reduced estimates coming throughout the summer and the techs falling more as a result.

I really think your comments are unfair. I think you should argue the facts...give your read on these quotes. Don't attack the messenger.
