"That's has a lot to do with why I don't get as exercised as many about the right to life of a fetus and get more exercised about the right of the woman to bear a healthy child unfettered by stomach punches."

Yes that is the trade off point of view held by many. Some are advocating for a "womens MOVEMENT" and in doing so tend to minimize to every extent possible and through every avenue available the value of a young life; as in,"I don't get as exercised as many about the right to life of a fetus" ... other people tend to discount any concerns a child bearing female may have with an attitude of "just do it."

I have always held that it is not necessary to legislate trade offs that have tendencies toward the dehumanization of any individual or group of individuals. I find it quite telling that political followers find it useful to pick up the chants of political platforms. Is it is or is it aint human for example...I am sure many people find that discussion entirely useful. Not the first time in history such a debate has been useful.
