It isn't normal.

Obama is attempting to "build his resume" to show international experience of which he has none.

This is all show-----propaganda as some would say.

Each photo that we are now seeing is a structured photo opportunity by the campaign.

Some voters who don't know that he has no international experience will be convinced erronesously by these photos and videos that he has international experience.
