TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 23, 2007) - Anatolia Minerals Development Limited (TSX: ANO.TO) ("Anatolia" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Lister as a Director effective March 22, 2007. He will also be nominated in management's slate of directors for election at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders in Toronto on May 31, 2007.

Dr. Lister has over 40 years of experience in the mining, metallurgical and chemical industries. He has served as President and CEO of Zemex Corporation, Vice Chairman of Zemex and of Dundee Bancorp Inc., Chairman of Campbell Resources Inc. and President and CEO of Campbell Resources Inc. Dr. Lister holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto. Dr. Lister is also a Director of Timminco Limited and Tiberon Minerals Ltd.
Anatolia currently has 78.6 million common shares issued and outstanding, 85.7 million fully diluted. Anatolia trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange as ANO.
