You asked for the name and number of the dealer I spoke of :

Paul Stanislau, 1-800-488-8896 Tell him my name and I know he'll provide the discount I receive.

Incidentally, before I switched over to the 'No Commissions" account, some of the commissions I paid were as follows:
24 Calls @ 1/2 - $56.32 comm.
18 Puts @ $1 - $89.27 comm.
18 Puts @ 1/4 - $22.31 comm.
5 Puts @ 1 7/8- $40.31 comm.

This is a variety of different contracts I did in 1997. Hope this helps Jim and others to compare.

Additionally, I should point out that there may be better as shown in reply # 3644. I appreciate this post, and will be checking it out shortly. Sounds like a great deal if it includes options. One thing I may not be able to live without though is having Paul and his staff always on top of my positions for me. I cannot tell you the number of times I was saved from a deep loss because Paul spotted the increase in downward pressure early enough for me to get out, and then get back in a few hours later on the other side to catch the pendulum coming back around. I also like IPO's which I can only get through a Full Service guy ... but that's not Options!
