There have been banking crises in the past - caused by too many bad loans. This time it was to subprime home loans, in the past it has been bad loans to Mexico or other foreign countries, to real estate developers in the SW, or to something else. Trying to tie these problems to whoever was in the WH at the time is silly partisanship. Interestingly enough, the last two banking crisises occurred under a Republican Bush. Yes, you're right......its just pure coincidence.
