Can I daytrade DELL just for a few days lets said and not hold overnight. Close positions at day end and continue to do this?

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. If you are asking "can I just daytrade, e.g. always go home flat, and keep doing this indefinitely?", the answer is YES. As was pointed out, when holding overnight, there are two gotchas: 1) if you hold Dell overnight and sell the next day, you may not use those funds to to buy Dell again that same day. 2) in the same situation, you could, say, buy Cisco, but you would have to hold it overnight.
