A Politicized Fed Isn't Doing Its Job The funds rate needs to be raised to choke off inflation. -- It's not just that people disagree on money policy -- they always do that. It's the level of utter outrage that people seem to be prepared to express this time, should the Fed not do the "right thing", whatever they believe that to be.
