Ok Michael as a general principle with rare exceptions the media prints mostly trash. This article is certainly no exception. It is a hodge-podge of muddled and confused ideas used in support of a notion not at constrained by the evidence offered. Michael if you are playing russian rullette there are always false alarms before you get your head blown off. Yet the risk is there everytime you pull the trigger. To say it did not happen before so it will not happen in the future is meaningless and wrong. It did happen before. I could go point by point debating the article as in extinctions are happening, 25% damage of forests is serious even if there is a recovery, and population pressures do lead to starvation in pockets and on and on...but that too is besides the point. You can not use your experience to judge whether global warming is a possibility because it is totally unreliable. You know what? Screw Malthus already! Who the hell cares about him. So he was wrong as countless others have been on every issue known to mankind. Was his work reviewed and published by science peers? It is pointless to talk about what his predictions were. It does not matter. The article you show me is equally irrelevant. I was only barely able to stomach it :) If you go to artic and record past temperatures from ice samples you will see that there were dramatic temperature changes in the past record of the earth. You see -- it has already happened. It could well happen again and there is a mechanism in place to make it happen. This is not a figment in anyones imagination. It is time you break out of your bubble.
