and that is because the virus code was written to attack microsoft products. it makes sense then that they would be impossible in the unix world.

again.... from what i understand, the alternative operating systems can be just as vulnerable, but aren't, because the blackhats aren't bothering with attacking low user base platforms.

if they wrote virus programs for unix, your statement could be appended to read...

the fact that switzerland isn't being attacked by world super powers doesn't mean that it is invulnerable.
