Compare it to my favorite - www.necx.com. Pretend you want to shop for a hard drive, with COOL you click on "storage" and after a long wait are confronted with the first 50 items of a 500 item list including many unrelated items (a numeric keypad is considered Storage ?!?) With Necx you work your way through a heirarchy in a logical, sensible fashion. The preview of Cool's new web site looks promising, I sure hope they've worked out these problems. As someone else has said, selling computer parts on the internet is a commodity business, margins are always going to be tight and many shoppers who choose to buy on the net are going to use price comparison engines to find the best deals. I see nothing compelling to make me think cool is going to be a big player in this arena. BTW, I am long COOL via WCAP so please don't take this a cheap shot from someone who is short!
