(Dow Jones)--IBM Canada selected a PC decoder card using Sigma Designs Inc.'s (SIGM) EM8300 REALmagic DVD/ MPEG - 2 decoder chip for use in models of its Ambra desktop personal computers. In a press release Wednesday, Sigma said the chip will provide DVD playback in Ambra models, which will be launched this week in IBM's Home Computing stores in Canada.
