Processor vendor Cyrix later this quarter will be among the first customers to take deliveries of chips produced with
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing's 0.25-micron process technology.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) on Thursday announced that it shipped the first production run of
0.25-micron wafers for logic devices late last month, becoming the world's first dedicated integrated circuit foundry
capable of developing such wafer fabrication technology.
