Paul, re A better OS from the lieks of NOVL can't make progress against a monopoly and ditto for a number of other companies. Paul, really...it's news to me that NOVL has a better OS than Win95. Even if such an improbable thing were true, was it ready for release prior to August of 1995? I have my doubts. I wonder if you fully appreciate the magnitude of the task of designing an all-new OS that's fully backward compatible with 99% of existing hardware AND software. For Win95, computer users throughout the world will be forever grateful to the big bad bully Microsoft. I harbor no ill will against a company that was able to at long last give my "cheap clone" an operating system and interface that actually made an IBM compatible computer fun to use. DK
