"it should have been LEADING the Street." Yes, it should have. The big problem is that it was pretty easy to see we were heading for a cliff. There have been numerous warning signs along the way. But, the ones in control apparently believe in the power of positive thinking... As I have stated before, we've been down this road before. Now granted, there are differences. But those differences are more likely to make things worse than ease the pain. All the similarities do is trigger the crisis, the differences are what will shape how the crisis plays out. The question in my mind is who in their right mind would want to trigger a crisis?
