Intel told analysts at the conference call that they do dominate Segment 0 sales and supporting chips sets and that they are the largest player. I don't think the analysts are worryring that Intel isn't or won't continue to get more than their fair share of this segment. The worry is that it will hurt margins. They seem to ignore the fact that while Intel is dominating the low end, their high end business (servers and mobile CPU's) is growing even faster. Twice in the cc they called out servers, workstations, and mobile CPU's as their fastest growth areas. So, although Intel is dominating the lowend, the high end is growing even faster. This is one of the reasons that their CPU margins are holding firm despite price cutting.
