Article in this weekend's Barrons [March 13, 2000] discussing ICICI and other India technology companies. Page MW20. I cannot post since I get Barrons in hard copy.

In any regard, positive towards India IT companies, esp. Infosys, but also a good comment relating to ICICI -- noting that it is a financial services firm with a "big online presence."

Article says that the pool of India engineers and scientists [in general] is second in the world only to the U.S. Further, article notes that India is the fastest growing exporter of software services among the emerging markets nations.

Lists a chart of six India IT stocks with ICICI market capitalization being the lowest at $4.6 billion.

Probably won't make the stock take off on Monday -- but favorable coverage in any regard, and speaks well of India's IT.
