PeopleNet Communications Corp., Minneapolis, a mobile
communications products company, has launched PeopleNet
Metro, a division that will provide communication products for
metro-area delivery and service businesses.

Possis Medical Inc., Coon Rapids, has initiated a clinical
trial for its AngioJet Rheolytic Thrombectomy system in
patients undergoing angioplasty for acute myocardial
infarction.

Ceridian Corp., Bloomington, said its LifeWorks Online
employee assistance program and work-life online product has
been awarded the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council
Award in the personal services category.

Axia Technologies, and Experience Based Solutions Inc.,
Minneapolis, have combined resources under the Experience
Based Solutions name.

TCF Financial Corp., Wayzata, said its board of directors
has authorized a new program for the company to acquire up
to 5 percent of TCF common stock, or about 3.8 million shares.
Since January 1998, TCF has repurchased 18.5 million shares.

Northern Research Laboratories, White Bear Lake, said its
Debacterol canker sore treatment has been recognized as a
pre-amendment drug by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration, which allows it to be sold to the public.
Debacterol previously has been available to consumers only
through health care professionals.

Urologix Inc., Plymouth, has entered into a manufacturing
agreement for Targis system control units with Plexus Corp.,
which will manufacture the Targis system control unit under a
two-year, renewable manufacturing agreement.

Tricord Systems Inc., Plymouth, has finalized partnerships
with a number of technology resellers in the United Kingdom,
Spain, the Netherlands and France.

Clore Automotive, North Kansas City, Mo., has completed
the purchase of Pentair Incorporated's service equipment
business, Century Manufacturing Co. of Bloomington, and
Lincoln Automotive, Bloomington. Terms were not disclosed.

Minneapolis-based DTN Weather Services/ Kavouras, a
commercial weather services provider, has changed its name to
Meteorlogix.

MQSofware, Minneapolis, said CenturyTel Service Group,
Monroe, La., has licensed its Q Pasa! for MQSeries middleware
management software.

driversshield.com Corp., Plainview, N.Y., said the St. Paul
Companies, has signed a three-year contract to use
driversshield.com's customer relationship management system
to manage its automobile collision repair claims.

RayMedica Inc., Bloomington, has begun enrolling patients
at two hospitals in Canada for a clinical study on its PDN
prosthetic disc nucleus, a device for the treating low-back pain.
Data from the study will be submitted with a request for
marketing approval of the device in Canada.

Timm Medical Technologies Inc., Eden Prairie, has entered
an agreement with Andromeda Medizinische Systeme, GmbH
of Munich, Germany, for exclusive North American
distribution of its urodynamic products.

Norstan Inc., Maple Grove, said two Oklahoma Correctional
facilities have selected Norstan to replace their
telecommunications infrastructure.

Metris Companies, Minnetonka, has opened an operations
center in Duluth, and plans to close its location in Champaign,
Ill. The company also completed the consolidation of its two
Scottsdale, Ariz., facilities.

NovaMed Inc., Minneapolis, said its new subsidiary,
Cryogenic Laboratories Inc., has acquired a 100 percent
interest in Cryogenic Laboratories Inc. in exchange for 4.1
million common shares. Cryogenic provides cryogenic
preservation in a long-term storage facility for semen,
umbilical cord blood and human embryos.
