After a turn over of 600K shares last week, a slight pull back and consolidaiton is normal. More contract announcements will help, but its not under ALYD's control. Many companies have finalized their 1998 budgets and are closing the books for 1997 year. Vacation and Holidays! Come mid-January 1998, funds will be released and contracts will be announced, code conversion will approach full swing, 10Q's should give a clear picture of their future.
Given the decreasing earnings momentum of large caps, price weakness with deflation pressure, Asian financial debacle and lack of purchasing power, investors are cautious about the tech sector (INTC, MSFT, networking, etc.) Dow Jones is heading down, NASDAQ is up. Small caps and y2k companies with earnings potential in 1998 will attract investors.
