I still feel like it's the case. We're just getting more sound bites.

I was listening to this NPR piece last night about how the fight to elect the first female President vs. the first black President was tearing families apart, which infuriates me so much already because it's so shallow, but beyond that, the couple they were interviewing were arguing about which candidate "seems most capable" or "that they could see in the White House."

Why the f**k is this more important than the candidates' stances on the issues? Pisses me off...
