Think of it this way; Phoenix probably knows as much (or more) about this situation as anyone. They were given the opportunity to acquire 1 mil shares without bidding up the price on the open market. What an opportunity ! Thats about 5% of the company, right.

A mutually benificial deal was done IMO.

Re; Brokers who don't know about this company.
My opinion of brokers is generally low. They are spoon fed information by their employers, to benifit both and not necessicarily the customers. Most only know about IPMCF because it was a big gainer for a few days last week and have done zero research. The majority do not know anything about gold mining companies, especially jrs. Those of you from Canada have a real advantage over us from the US in that there are some brokers there who have taken the time to learn about and specialize in this sector.

Lesson: Do your own homework, it's your money.
