Romney supports the same exact Bush economic policies which got us into this mess. And remember, the whole country was doing better in the 90's, not just Massachusetts. Maybe Romney should endorse CLinton as thanks for his success in Massachusetts. And what state didn't do well in the 90's? They all did because our federal government and economy were doing well.

It's easy to cut taxes when you have a surplus. Everyone is for that. But what's Romney going to do now, cut more taxes, including for the billionaires and big corporations? And so who pays off the 13 trillion in debt? WHo pays for the Iraq mess? Who pays for health care? WHo pays to fix our highways and bridges? Who pays for massive new green fuels programs? If the rich and corpos don't then the hard-hit middleclass does. So the rich and corps have to pay. And they should. They've taken the cream off the top, now help pay for the cows.

Cutting taxes only works when you have a balanced budget and are willing to cut spending too. There is not much room to cut spending on social programs. The place to cut is the military and corporate welfare. And right now we actually reward corporations for sending US jobs overseas. That's what Kerry was saying in 2004 and he was right. Romney won't cut defense or corporate welfare. He is for both. Big-time. He won't stand up to the oil companies or HMO's either. He's on their side.
