Someone still needs to explain to me how all the fear in the optical networking bubble affects SUNW though.

Some people take the statement 'the network is the computer' a little too literally.

SUNW drops with the market, then bounces back higher. Has done as long as I've been holding it. Unusually it didn't sell off after earnings this time, even through triple witching, and this is Halloween month. A good omen methinks. Hang in there.
