ABMC has received another order on its rapid testing kit today. ANCRAMDALE, NY, JULY 26, 1996 - American Bio Medica Corporation (NASDAQ OTC BB: ABMC) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with a Louisiana-based industrial medical facility that provides workplace drug testing services to over 7,000 businesses throughout the southeastern United States. The agreement is for the purchase of 13,000 Rapid Drug Screen kits per month representing sales in excess of $1,000,000 per year for American Bio Medica. ABMC President, Stan Cipkowski, stated, "The response to our Rapid Drug Screen Test has been overwhelming. We have ordered the necessary equipment to increase our production capabilities and by mid-September will have the capacity to manufacture up to 50,000 units per week." American Bio Medica Corporation is an "early-stage" biomedical company which develops, manufactures and markets rapid, low-cost and easy-to-use diagnostic kits for abused substance testing and develops other biomedical technologies and devices. ABMC's drug screening test strip employs technology similar to that used commonly in pregnancy test kits. The drug detection strip is 100% sensitive to substances of abuse and performed flawlessly in field tests earlier this year.
