Clearly, TM is the best-of-breed in the auto sector. But the sector as a whole is under a cloud of doubt because of GM and Ford, and Japanese market is in a pullback. None of these issues should have any long term affect on TM. With a P/E of 14.5 and growth to match, I feel comfortable investing there. Honda (HMC) has a better P/E of 6, but hasn't been showing TM's growth either. Nevertheless, I would consider it 2nd best-of-breed.
