Some analysts mention negative short term outlook. JP Morgan lead and others followed by saying the short term for Potash may be hurt by worries over the Kali deal and may even have a downside earnings surprise. A late news release on Friday (about 2:45) focused on Potash shipments (strong in the third quarter), which may have slowed in the fourth quarter. Still, the analysts almost all agree that Pot's long term is very positive. (I am the options specialist on the CBOE. Let me know about your experiences trading the stock and/or the options.)
