Thursday Jun 6 2002 News Release

Mr. David Power reports
FALCON TO ACQUIRE 5,300 ACRES AT GREYWACKE GOLD TREND
Falcon Ventures International has staked four large claim blocks consisting of 2,150 hectares that lay along the Greywacke gold trend located within the La Ronge greenstone belt of Northern Saskatchewan.
In 1988, Cameco Corp. discovered the geologically unique Greywacke gold deposit during exploration of its large landholdings in the area. Several drill programs on the Comeco ground outlined an initial resource of 328,000 tons at a grade of 0.27 of an ounce gold per ton to a vertical depth of approximately 200 metres. The best intersection returned 0.934 of an ounce Au over 7.5 metres within the zone. Significant grades were also defined in drill holes and surface sampling located along the trend for a strike length of about seven kilometres.
Falcon's claims extend for 21 kilometres along the same Greywacke trend. Reconnaissance mapping and prospecting have defined alteration and mineralization features similar to those hosting the Greywacke gold deposit. Regional mapping programs throughout the length of the 21 kilometres have traced the structural stratigraphic trend hosting the Greywacke gold deposit. Greywacke-type gold deposits are attractive in that they can generate more consistent, reliable and predictable grade continuities during resource definition drilling programs.
Falcon's land package is well located with all weather highways within five kilometres. A power line and secondary road cross the southern portion of the claim blocks.
This 21-kilometre-long extension of an established gold trend recently acquired by Falcon offers the company an attractive opportunity to search for and define a potentially significant orebody.
