The last run on MVIS does admittingly provoke sentiments in terms of wanting to take a profit -with the intention of buying back at a lower price. Any glance at a chart of MVIS confirms this as being highly lucrative (if you get the timing right!). In my opinion, yesterdays trading shows a possibility of a "topping out": Last three days' volume is declining (although still in the very high figures) and the closing price in low from the days trading.

However: Going back a bit, we are not looking at a stock that has outperformed the market. In october 1996, the price was just under $7. Compared to that, the price hasen't done more than 15-16%. The previous all-time high was 7 1/8. Compared to that, the hike doesn't even reach a 15% increase. The rest of the market, however, has performed much better. All during a period where a lot of the market's uncertainty about MVIS should have been substantially reduced as MVIS through their contracts have had "outside", qualified proof of the very interesting product they are developing.

What I mean to say, is that MVIS -as far as we can gather- has taken important steps forward, whilst the market appreciation of the stock hasn't. Conclusion? The price ought to move (much) higher!

Now, don't forget that my comments are biased in that I'm long in MVIS, but doesn't this make some sense?

PS: I liked Mr. Rutkowskis comments about having watched us quietly. I know of others who read this, but who never enter the discussion (Hi, MAC). Wonder what the ratio participants/readers is?

PS2: I'm not familiar with the US regulations about information given by companies, but in Norway, any detailed indication on a "private" basis from the company's executives of news in the pipeline, development, plans and so forth without releasing the same material simultaniously to the entire market would provoke strong reactions from the Stock Exchange. Meaning: Personally, I don't expect neither Mr. Rutkowski or other representatives of MVIS to give us the juicy stuff before press statements are made.
