Bloomberg reports that WCOM received the license to enter local phone business in JAPAN, first competition ever to NTT( Largest phone company in the world, a monopoly in Japan. They mentioned that it costs $570.00 to get a local phone hookup!!. This will be interesting. WCOM might deploy internet access equipment as well and compete as ISP, which should only help ASND. Checkout in Bloomberg technology news. I don't know how to cut and post it.
