I see burning the Qur'an as an excellent, emphatic way of saying, "This is what we think of Islam, Muslims, Allah, and Muhammed. You may be allowed here under our laws, and we will not take any violent or illegal actions against you under our laws, but you are certainly not welcomed or appreciated here. We only tolerate your presence and your mosques because we are compelled to by our laws. And now, you know exactly where we stand."
