Primestar Board Meeting on Satellite TV Operator's Future NY, Nov 2 (Bloomberg)--Primestar Inc.'s board is meeting to discuss the future of the second largest satellite television operator as it regroups from its failed effort to buy American Sky Broadcasting Co. because of antitrust concerns. The board is convening in NY for a regularly scheduled meeting for the first time scince the company called off its proposed $1.1bil purchase of ASkyB last month.Primestar didn't release the meeting's agenda, though analysts and consultants said the directors will focus on the company's outlook and whether it should be sold to rival DirectTV or EchoStar. <more>
