Hi Darren: Are you saying that VDSL and ADSL charges are the same? What Mike is saying is that the price of VDSL, whenever it deployed to the masses, will be market driven rather than cost driven. With the fledging deployment of various broadband services, the market is only going to be willing to pay so much extra for so much extra bandwidth. -- that would imply increased performance with respect to the individual's particular req'ts. One hundred feet to the south, I can see the UMG cable. Damn! Gee, Darren, I recall you saying the same regarding your ILEC & your distance from its CO vs. the other guy - PacBell. The writing is on the wall, move at "one hundred feet to the south" or whatever distance you need to cross into the promised land of PacBell & DSL heaven. <ggg>
