Oil prices continue slide

Oil prices lost more ground Tuesday despite plans by OPEC producers to reduce supply again in the face of economic slowdown and dwindling petroleum demand. London brent blend crude eased 32 cents to $19.12 a barrel, extending to more than $8 the slump in prices since September 11, close to a two-year low set on Friday. U.S. light crude lost 17 cents to $19.85.
