Yes: record analog, decode precompressed stream at the same time. Memory b/w does not support doing the following: encoding 720x480x30 frames/sec raw digital video, while simultaneously decoding an MP@ML bitstream. I even wonder if it can decode two full MP@ML streams simultaneously. Hmmmm. You can still have a system with separate decoder and encoder chips. Don't get me wrong. DVExplode is a cool product.
