Len - God's favor may manifest in 'wealth'
but the things of value in this life are not
what are important.

Jesus said this:

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain
the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a
man give in exchange for his soul?

Is it then 'health' ??

Paul - the greatest apostle - suffered from physical blindness.

Ironic that God would literally 'blind him be the light'

Paul saw Jesus after he inhabited a glorified state
- that glory struck Paul blind
- he regained his eye sight for a time - but later digressed
- Paul healed many but the Lord refused to heal Paul's eyes.

2 Corinthians 12:8 For this thing I besought the
Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

Paul realized exactly what he was favoured with however.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

God's favour can be manifested in temporal wealth
but even Job -whom the bible records as being made very rich
by God was made poor for a season to prove that he was interested
in God for the eternal wealth that is found only in Christ.

Oldest book in the bible:

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Latter day = time of Christ

You would do well to read the book of Job - it is about this
very subject..

Job found favor with God - satan accused Job of being only
interested in the worldly wealth - God took it away and proves Job
then God grants to Job double wealth after the hour of trial.

You would do better to read the bible than debate about it.
