I've been watching Novell for a few weeks now, and initially put a bid to buy at 10. Since then I have changed it to 8 1/2, until I see their
7 press releases a day start to rally the stock price, I will keep it at that. I can't really understand why a company that has such a large market share (diminishing as it may be), is priced so low, not to mention their assets. How many companies at this price have 1 billion to play with?!

Now I'm quite a newbie at stocks, however I am a MIS manager for a big six accounting firm, so I know the technology behind Novell. Do people
honestly think that all the current companies running netware can just decide to move to NT after putting quite an investment into Novell??!

Some cost factors would be training (users & MIS staff), downtime, and implimentation. Not exactly attractive to most companies.

Our firm has just adopted 4.1 as the NOS firmwide and that is quite a nice sum of money for them to play with. Only time will tell where this will go, but now that they have had a wake-up call I think they will be around for quite some time, with a stock price of at least 20 within the next 3 years..

input after watching this thread for sometime)
