Hillary and Bush Jr Have a Lot in Common

I was thinking about the Hillary and the campaign she has run and it struck me how similar she is to Bush in her attitude and her way of leading.

1) She has run her campaign in a fiscally irresponsible way. There have been many articles recently about how her donors have been upset to see how she has wasted money on lavish hotel and food expenditures and wasted millions on media consultants who crafted a failed campaign on strength and experience when people wanted change. Ultimately, a failed candidacy usually can point back to bad fiscal management. Bush's Presidency has been much the same. Fiscal irresponsibility has led to the defection of many Republicans just like me.

2) She practices the politics of destruction instead of hope. She divides people, engages in blatantly false smear tactics, and desires the Presidency because it has been her ambition for quite some time. She wants the power that comes with the Presidency and she thinks she deserves it. It's rightfully hers, she thinks. Bush is much the same. He divides. He smear people, as he did McCain in his own party on his own path to power. And he's been drunk on the power he's been elected to and thinks he has entitlement and mandate to do as he pleases.

3) Hillary ignores the will of the people. Obama has won 1 million more votes in these primaries. He's won 14 more states. And he's won 150 more pledged delegates. Hillary has gone on record saying that she will pull out all the stops to get the Super Delegates to overturn the will of the people and to seat the Michigan and Florida delegates despite her signing on to the rules at the beginning of the game. Bush too ignores the will of the people. He does what he wants to do, despite mass defections from his own party and general discontent at the policies of his administration.

When you take a deep look at Hillary, she sure does look a lot like Bush. They may differ in their policy positions, but they are made from the same mold. We can't afford 8 more years of a destructive, wayward, arrogant Presidency. Let's hope Hillary doesn't get this nomination.
