My experience with reverse splits is that it is a blatant maneuver against the stockholder, especially the small guys that get burned the most.
I have in the past sent 2 e-mails to GATE pratically begging them to re-consider this move and warning them of the negative exposure that stays with a company like a bad hangover that won't go away. No response to my e-mails.
I predict that within 6 months, they will again have at least 20-30 million shares out as they borrow against them again causing dilution to the stockholder. I'm out at my buy in price and I wouldn't touch this company until they show that they can work for the good of the people that make their livelyhood, the stockholders.
This is all in my opinion, of course.
