CLinton will also praise Ned Lamont once he beats Lieberman, if he pulls it off, which it looks like he can do. Clinton's endorsement is not likely to have much of an affect. It's also unclear if Clinton is at all sincere, considering Lieberman was his harshest Dem critic during the Monica Lewinksy smear campaign, and Lieberman was a terrible running mate for Gore. This is kind of like McCain endorsing Bush. It's completely for show. Deep-down McCain can't stand Bush and Clinton probably doesn't think much opf Lieberman.
