"Revisionist" is the kindest word I can use to describe your post. CA was basically raped by the energy companies in one of the most blatant examples of supply manipulation in US history. Supplies of electricity and natural gas were deliberately manipulated to drive the price up to obscene levels. Your logic of blaming the victim for the crime harks back to the age-old defense of rapists.
