A very small effect if the increase in the minimum wage is very small, or if whether or not the increase is small the required wage at the end is significantly below the market clearing wage for unskilled labor. What exactly is the "market clearing wage" for unskilled labor? It's a cute phrase but tell me ow much it is. When do YOU start taking your own garbage to the dump? When do YOU start making your own clothing? And why do you so firmly believe that a person that works full time in this country shouldn't make a "living wage"? Are you afraid that it might cut into your wages?
