What I don't understands is, what's propping up the markets? Any ONE of those headlines would have made it swoon in the past.


Because the earnings season was not as bad as expected. And the problems still seem mostly confined to the US. Oil may be inflationary in the US economy but is not impacting Europe and Japan nearly as much since their currencies remain strong.
