OOPS !!! Got my years wrong !!! "It seems that in Trump's last year the Deficit was close to $1 TRILLION, and it rose to between $2.7 and $3.2 TRILLION during Biden's time ......" That should read .... "It seems that in Trump's last year of 2020 the Deficit was close to $3.2 TRILLION" $3.2 TRILLION is a BIG number, HOWEVER that was greatly influenced by the expenses incurred due to the COVID "epidemic". During Trump's previous years in office the Deficit ranged between about $0.5 and $0.9 TRILLION, an average of about $0.7 TRILLION. As of September 2022 the Deficit stands at $1.375 TRILLION, .... and counting ..... and is way ahead and about double during Donald Trump's period in office ...... As we know it is Congress who "hold America's purse strings". And all through Donald Trump's time in office he faced a "hostile" Congress, be it Republican or Democrat controlled .....
