Looks like a bit of good news (from the EDS thread):

Interactive Week just posted an article "GM Turns to JAVA" where it points out that the deal is worth a $1 Billion (although the first pilot is about $1.3 million) and that EDS lost out to a consortium led by SUN. Does anyone know how EDS responded to this RFP to automate the selling of GM vehicles using Internet technology?. Was it too labor and JAVA intensive and did EDS price it to make some margin or walk? Or did EDS aggressively attack this and just lost out to a better proposal?
