Firstar, through its Recreation Finance Division, has signed an agreement with Jayco Inc., a manufacturer of recreational vehicles, to be Jayco's preferred lender and provide a variety of financing plans to consumers through Jayco dealers. Firstar is a unit of U.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis.

A group including Gabelli Asset Management Inc. has raised its stake in Hector Communications Corp., Hector, Minn., to 12.95 percent, according to a filing Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Gabelli group beneficially owned 435,900 shares of Hector Communications common stock after buying 40,900 shares and selling 3,600 between Oct. 10 and Friday at prices from $13.73 to $15.20.
