thread , just to show you the culture shock that tandem is in for. cpq's profit per emp is 80k and tandem's is 12k... that's 5 times the people prodcutivity. tandem was very poor systems. I went to the Austin tandem plant in the 80's. Tandem wanted me to use their computers for run cpq... It was a sorry site for production on the factory floor and the business systems were non existant
