First off, i they offer some free 2 months trial (of course you give them their money and then get it back later), including videos etc. So you might as well start with what many call the best. You can always return it.

We use metastock (albeit i don't spend too much time with it) as it plugs into our Reuters data feed, etc. Its nice, but I think Omega is more customizable. Interestin how it used to be $200 a month....I think they reduced their prices the same time the market fell from 8400 to 7400. I am surprised they havent brought them up to record highs with a possible few weeks of sideways movement.
