Joe, Pleased to see your posts again. I'm not worried about CD-recordables. They won't compete as a floppy replacement because they're too expensive and too slow. (BTW, regarding CD compatibility, isn't it true that only the latest CD-readers can read the recordables?). In addition, the DVD derivatives are probably going to be grabbing major market share from the CD drives. All of these will steal a little from Jaz and SyJet sales. I suspect however that with the projected growth in this sector, it will not be noticable. Speed remains the key element that will shield the Jaz and SyJet from this type of removable competition.
