OK< unless there is a radical change in global weather, we will get more then enough ice for drilling and winter roads (if there is a radical change I have some great beach front property for sale)
The trick is too get enough ice soon enough to give them a long hauling season. If you get a thick blanket of snow before alot of ice has formed then you have to plough the snow off or flatten it, to let more ice form. this can delay the winter road by a few weeks.
Its been an odd winter so far, freeze up came early but then we are currently haveing a mild spell. Suppose to drop temp wise next few days.
Trust me on this one though when daylight hours diminish as they are the cold weather usually sets in. Suppose to go down to minus 15C tonight ...........
