Microsoft, EMC Form Joint Marketing Alliance

HOPKINTON, Mass. (Reuters) - Software giant Microsoft Corp. (NasdaqNM:MSFT - news) and EMC Corp. (NYSE:EMC - news), a leader in high-capacity data storage equipment, on Tuesday said they had formed a joint marketing alliance for Windows 2000 storage systems.

The companies said they will develop and market storage networking products for the Windows NT server and Windows 2000 operating systems using storage systems, software, and services from EMC and its Data General division.

Bought some more Microsoft today. I hope that the DOJ and 19 states won't go after Microsoft for all the snow and ice we had here in the Northern US the last several days. Charles Tutt might also agree that the bad weather is Softees fault.
